We were around 10-15 people together in a mini bus. When we arrived at the starting point of matheran. The people out there stopped us, and didn't allow us with our private vehicle to go up to the spot. They had there own mini vans and cabs, and we had to use it, with no choice.(rupees 30 per person).
Now inside, its a huge area. very huge with no transport. There were different spots, too distant from each other like 10-20 km away.
So you cant cover all the spots.
Therez a train that runs but that to on specific timmings.
This is why I didn't like this hillstation at all.
