Last rainy season I visited to matheran with my family. and I expirenced that it was an awesome place to meet the clouds and stay in the clouds. it is the perfect hills station situated near pune. this place is the nearby heven to the mumbai and pune city people. the waterfalls in rainy season, sharp turnovers of roads, the green heaven are the sightseeing of it, makes it the oxygen zone. hotels are very costly, because of heavy rush they increase the hotel rates allover matheran which makes easy to accomodate there comfortly.
but I dont recommended the people to visit this place when there is heavy rainfall, it also takes dangerous mode in rainy seasons.
