Matheran is a smallest hill station in india and it is far away mumbai by 110 Km. it is situated in Raigadh district. one year ago I had visited there. I was in fine feather in that vibrant atmosphere. I went there with my family. I hired a local taxi from mumbai and reached there with ease. fare was only 3000 Rs. toy trains are also available from pune. Matheran is known by its pleasant beauty. natural scene attract everyone.there are couple of lakes, verdant parks, zoo and temples. there are many hotel and resorts in Matheran. I booked a 5 star room near Raigadh chauk. manager of hotel was very vivacious. we are given red carpet welcome by staff.
I advise to everyone to go that hill station in vacation. here you will rejoice to see attractive scene, verdant cliff, and cold wheather. I did not suffer in my whole travel.
