MASTER OF STORYTELLING. Review on Master Of The Game - Sidney Sheldon

Sidney Sheldon used to write pretty good yarns before.This is among his good ones.Nowadays he writes pedestrian stuff.Master of the Game was a one sitting book. It just won't let you do anything else other than finish reading it in one sitting.The story is so engrossing that right from the beginning you are rooting for Jamie McGregor who is out to make his fortune and throughout the book when his daughter Kate takes over the reins of the empire that he founded.The main protagonist of the book is Kate who manipulates the lives of people and she does not even spare her children too.Why? Because she wants to be the Master of the Game.And in this process she earns the friendship and enmity of so many people.As usual every Sidney Sheldon book has a twist at the end and this one does too.I count this book among his best.Oh how I await him to write something as superlative as this.
