MARUTI SUZUKI SX4 Review

I bought SX4 car on 28th March 2008. Its a ZXi version. I would like to share my experiences which are very practicle. I stay in Kota in Rajasthan But I belong to New Delhi. So I went for a marriage in

New Delhi and its around 550 Kms from Kota. I planned to take the new car to New delhi.

Let me describe you the road conditions From Kota to Jaipur Single Road Full of traffic. Jaipur to New Delhi 4 lane road busy road.

Positives of the car.

1. Size is too good you dont feel that you are sitting in a small car and that big feeling remains with you. When u park the car it stands out and gives you the feeling that you are not in rat race.

2. Ground clearance is too good where almost every car was touching the speed breaker the SX4 with 4 person inside and almost 150 kg luggage in the boot passed the speed breaker went without touching so this is too good.

3. Number of times I touched 120 Kmph it did very effortlessly. and i never felt that the engine is strained. Two times I touched 160 also but for a very short period.

4. Climate Control is very good to use and its a good option over the normal A/C. You can actuallu set your own tempratures and its hardly takes a 1/2 minutes to cool the cabin.

5. As the car is brand new and is not serviced at all then also it gave me 14 Kmpl on highway it also include the delhi driving at least 300 kms in delhi also. Kindly note the climate control was 100% on every time even for the shortest trips and waitings on the highway. I will say its is too good.

6. Looks of the car is actully a very very personal perception. I like the looks and rate is as too good. for some it might look like pregnent frog for some it looks like Angelina jolie. So looks is a personal department.

7. 16 inch tyre is a delight on the highway and pot holes. I faced lot of bad roads in this trip and every where the car behaved in super manner.

Negatives I noticed

1. Slightly tight 1st Gear and reverse gear. Other gears are too smooth.

2. Around 110 Kmph noise of the engine start creeping in the cabin. Till 100 Kmph the car is as silent as any other car in the world.

3. Music system is pathetic you cannot imagine yourself listining loud music. Music system is good only for old is gold songs. No New Songs please.

Now I am back from New delhi and the car has already done 1850 Kms I will get it serviced and will update my experiences.
