I am with Maruti from past 6 years; I bought my third car from Maruti. Moreover, main reason for being with them without even trying

any other brand is my 100% service satisfaction. In my opinion, You may find better product in the market, but NO ONE can match their reliability & quality of service. I am extremely pleased with their service & support throughout my relation with them. Many potential customers are going for an alternative like Honda, Verna, Ford and Lancer just due to the mismatch in demand & supply issues from Maruti end. In fact, there is unbearable waiting period for SX4 and Swift D. But according to me, even though the waiting period is hard to digest, the Maruti cars are worth the wait. Further, after statewide research in Karnataka, I did discover one thing, there is no real scarcity of SX4 (at least in SX4 VXi in Karnataka) Silver and White SX4s are readily available with many dealers. The other colors, like the one I have booked, Maroon (New Supreme Red, to be specific) require waiting of up to 2 Months. Still, I feel, the Maruti Car & their service reliability are worth waiting….so I am waiting from past 1 Month, And as my regular dealer in Hubli (RNS Motors) promised, I’ll get my vehicle in 10 more days. To describe about Maruti Service & reliability… In one example, few months back when I met with an accident on a highway, at somewhere around 12.30 midnight, having no idea about my next step I just dialed there CC number. To my surprise, they did respond with a great assurance, and said please wait for further call from their side. Really, I had no hope, since it was almost midnight, raining and I was roughly 90 KM away from the nearest town. Nevertheless, to my surprise, the person from Maruti called me back, saying someone will reach the accident spot soon. Fine, roughly after 2 hours, we saw a trusted Maruti towing vehicle approaching us. Then rest all job we had been, to sit & relax in their car. And in second case, I had left my car for interior cleaning with a nearby dealer. By the time I took my vehicle from them, it was approximately 7 PM. After reaching home, I realized the upholstery cleaning is not up to the mark. So I just mailed Maruti HQ at around 8.30 PM. The next day morning, at 9.30 AM, I got a call from the dealer requesting me to bring back the vehicle, so that he can re-do the work. Can you expect such a courtesy from any other brand ? These few small things make us feel satisfied. These are my big n small experiences with Maruti, which make me stick to them. In fact, I had a different car in mind before booking SX4, and I booked it mainly because it is from Maruti. I think we have better cars in that segment, but as I said earlier, no one can match Maruti’s service.
As someone from net community has pointed out, the comparison between SX4 and Honda is as good as comparing a Bike with a Scooter. So naturally if you are looking for a car for city use, then fine go for Honda, if you are a highway burner as well, then no doubt go for SX4. Trust me, no one can guarantee you & support you as Maruti does. I have had several instances where in the trust on Maruti grew with every interaction.

As many people have already expressed about the delay in delivery of their Swift & SX4, I can say both the cars are worth some waiting. As they say, “Intajar Ka Phal Meetha hota Hai” enjoy sweetness of your Maruti. Today, 8 Aug (after 1 month from booking date), the dealer called me & said, my SX4 has been dispatched from Maruti, N it will reach his showroom in 6 days. He also gave me Eng No & Chassis No. I have requested him to deliver on Aug 15th, instead of 14 as he promised. Cool right ?

Hi folks, since I was enjoying my new SX4, I could not post my views immediately. Anyway it has been 20 days now. I got the delivery of my SX4 as promised on 15th Aug. I had to drive 425 km, all the way from Hubli to Bengaluru.  Since it’s a new baby, I tried to drive with discipline. maintaining the speed between 50-70.  Amazingly I got the mileage of 17kmpl. Just wonderful, considering the fact that, no run period / 1st service. During my recent visit for 1st service, I learnt that, earlier SX4s have 2 issues, (1-clutch & 2- AC pls verify with your dealer). After using it for what I find is, visibility isn’t that good. But this can be solved to some extent with the aid of a "parking sensor" ( avbl with Maruti dealer for 4k). And rear seats are not spacious enough. Rest all just gr8. Its sure a ’head turner’. And I am enjoying it.  And for the people murmuring about the music system. I have a solution, I tried & it works well. Just install a ’Powered Subwoofer’ avbl from JVC, ( Model "BB2" and cost 7k). After installing this, I find music system as good as any high end system with great bass boost. No complaints at all. Happy to have SX4.
