I have Maruti 800 since past 2 yrs. Its maitanence is less, gives a
good mileage today also, provided it should be handled with care. Its
not at all like jeep or ambassador that you can use it rough tough. But if you use it with care then it lasts longer, I think this applies to all cars.

It
is one of the best selling cars in India as it satisfies many less
earning families here.  So only best choice is Maruti 800 for economy and smal family.
