I am putting this review after completing 60000Kms and close to 5yrs( I Bought this car in Nov'2009 and this is my 1st car).I have LXi Model, At that time Maruti had relaunced this New Estilo model and it was a newest car in the market. After driving it for 60000Kms, I would say the experience is quiet satisfied. I give a breif note on the kep features:
1) Style: The exterior of car gives the impressive look and give a style of high range hatch back car. However interior are just normal and have plastics dashboard.
2) Mileage: I get almost 17-17.5 KMPL on Highways and almost 15-16 KMPL in the city
3) Driving Comfort: It gives a good driving comfort. My Maximum driving in a single day was approx 400 Kms and it wasnt too tiring. The Top Speed of the car is approx 110 KMPH. However after 100 KMPH, it starts shaking so you need to de accelerate it to 100 KMPH.The car has K Star series of Engine which Maruti uses in Ritz and Swift as well.
4) Braking and control: Brakes are drum type, stil they are quiet effective.Also cars remain in well in control at highways at High speed and power steering of the car is excellent.
5) SPACE: I think is a best part of the vehicle. It has very good head room, adequate Leg room . Even the space for the rear passengers is comfortable. Obviously some equivalent hatch back offers good space, but you wont regret on space comfort.
6) Boot Space: Many of my friends, relatives and appreciated the boot space of the car. It has better boot space than Alto, even A star and I 10( Hyundai) as well. You can put lot of luggage in the cars boot space.
7) Airconditioning: AC is really effective and can cool the car within 3-4 minutes if ambient temp are approx 38-39 Deg C
8) Maintenance: In last 5 years, no major maintenance expense has come . with teh service due now, I am planning to replace the clutch plate as an preventive part.
9) Issues: The gear transmission could have been better . After using it for, so many years I feel this is one part which could have been better for smooth transmission as at times I have to put some extra caution to change the gears specially between 2nd and 3rd gear.
10) Value For Money:I am fully satisfied with the vehicle and feel good that I took the right decision at that time.'A -star' was expensive than this car that time but I feel this is much better car than A STAR. Only think that Maruti has not marketed it aggressively and initial variant( Old one) of Estilo was not very good so I think due to thsi reason the car didnt sell much. Else you can easily put your money on this car which would give Style, Mileage, Speed and control with almost no maintenance expense and excellent space in the vehicle
