Hi all,
I bought my Swift VDI in October, 2014 after exchange with my 2006 Wagon R. The Maruti Dealer Bhandari Automobiles at Kolkata gave me an offer and also arranged one stop bank finance, which I could not refuse. The exchange process, documentation, bank loan all were completed in 3 working days and I walked out with a brand new Swift VDI diesel car.
This car is very spacious and comfortable, but the back seat occupants may have a bit of problem if the driver is very tall. The engine is super smooth and is giving me a city mileage of 17.7 Kmpl. Highway mileage with A/c is about 19-20Kmpl and without a/c is about 22Kmpl. Pickup, ride quality and handling on city roads are excellent. Being a hatchback, boot space maybe a bit small. Plush interiors gives tha car a premium feel. So far there has not been a single problem with the car which has completed 17, 500 Kms so far. I have gone on long drives of 200-250 Kms distance and the car is a pleasure to drive at high speeds. Enthusiasts should be careful of overspeeding since the car has a very high pickup and stability at high speeds.
I am proud of this car and very happy with its performance. Kudos to Maruti for building such a high quality product.
