As it gives the look of suv and you can use this car as multipurpose vehicle, low in class maintenance, fuel efficient and performance packed vehicle launched by maruti suzuki motors. The petrol version giver the mileage of approx. 13.1 kmpl in city area and 15.7 on highways. The average is pretty good according to mpvs and suvs . the car has good boot space and good ground clearance . Maruti offers best infotainment system and over the counter features .The car is fairly spacious and maximum 7 people can easily sit in this car . The petrol version has 1373cc engine and gives 91 nm of torque which is fairly impressive . the ertiga is excellent car among its rivals and if you want value for money and low maintenance mpv/suv then go for it .as I have vxi version of this car so I can only tell you about petrol version .this car is bit laggy when fully loaded but you feel no jerks at a speed of more than 50km/h . As most of the suvs have probably have 1500 to 2000 cc engine thats why when the car is fully equipped and loaded with passengers and luggage, you feel little shaky at the speed less than 50km/h . This is the only limitation of this car otherwise the vehicle is excellent and proves to be a good performer in hilly areas and highways . If you have budget b/w 8 to 9 lacs and you want family purpose vehicle, then without any second thought just go for it.As this car gives all the luxurious and safety features .
