One of the best car ever. Review on Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

The facelift model of Ertiga is here in this season of 2017, showcasing the magic of the glitterati ( chrome) . The flagship Multi-Purpose Vehicle of Maruti Suzuki mAnasultanging to fill the void in between the SUVs and the expensive similar vehicle such as Innova.

The Ertiga is available in diesel and petrol engine variants, and automatic model with the petrol engine. The new Ertiga also has the SHVS with the diesel model too, which seems to a very nice addition. With a base model LXI BS IV model priced at INR 6.22 lakhs, it is not going to put a hole in the pocket of the consumer base for this segment.

The Ertiga petrol models go from INR 6.22 lakhs to about INR 8.76 lakhs, whereas diesel variants ranging from INR 7.17 lakhs to INR 8.17 lakhs for the ZDI+ SHVS version ( all ex-showroom, Delhi) and the new CNG VXI version placed at about INR 8.17 lakhs.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Exterior: -

Keeping the overall profiling familiar to the earlier, Ertiga seems to be catching the attention with the new fog lamps and thick chrome grills similar to the design that Maruti has been following whether it be Ciaz or Ignis. Escaping the boxy styling of Ignis and also not touching the aggressive car styling, Ertiga is lying a bit towards utility looks with a bit of chrome trying to escape the totally “Ye sab moh maya hai” designing. Catchy body cladding could have garnished the car with a husky accent. Precisely, considering the specs, Ertiga showcases 4, 265mm length, 1, 695mm width, 1, 685mm of height, 2, 740mm wheelbase and a turning radius of 5.2m.

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga’s new variant Z+ flaunts many new features like push start and stop, touchscreen system with reverse parking camera and navigation, also keyless entry. Interiors, in terms of upholstery, remains the same whereas the dashboard comes with the Swift like the beige color set-up. Interiors lack the luster of premium quality material. A profile resemRobotouchng Honda Jazz looks lengthier while providing a good legroom, and a lot of boot space to fit ample of luggage when the last row in flipped. But on a long journey with seven people on board with their luggage, will surely create the need for a carrier.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Specification: -

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga petrol engine comes with the 1373cc, K14B technology, and this engine prowess out the max power of 68 kw@ 6000 RPM and 130 Nm @ 4000 RPM of max torque. The diesel engine comes with the 1248 cc, D13A SHVS technology and its engine generates the max power of 66 kW@ 4000 RPM and max torque of 200 Nm@ 1750 RPM. The mileage of diesel engine is whooping 24.52 kmpl, and that of the petrol engine is 17.50 kmpl for the manual transmission.
