Before my review, I would like to say I am not a fan of Simbhu at all. He tries to imitate Rajinikanth too much and even has his own intro going ’’Little Super Star.’’ I watched this
movie just to kill time. At the end of it, I couldn’t help but wonder why I did. I have no idea why Jyothika who’s at a higher career level than Simbhu agreed to do this movie.

The movie starts with Simbhu in a wheelchair and meeting Mandira Bedi who’s supposed to be a doctor. He goes into her office and rants about how he loved a girl and she left him for somebody else. He hugs Mandira and suddenly we see a smile break out on his face while he’s hugging her and blood coming out of his nose. He grabs her navel. He then has a song with Mandira. Within a few minutes, he also has another ’’Item Song’’ with Yana Gupta.

Jyothika is introduced in the movie when she dreams about Simbhu raping her. And lo and behold the very next day, she sees Simbhu and is freaked out. It then happens that Simbhu and Jyothika attend the same music school. Jyothika finally falls in love with Simbu. All through the movie, we have our simbu who’s being a gentleman near Jyothika but having a ’’fun time’’ with other girls at night. He even has a pretty long smooch sequence with one of these girls. During all these nightly acts, we always see blood oozing out of his nose. I wonder how that happens. We then come to know that he kills all the girls he picks up at night. He then burns them, puts the ash in a bottle, writes their name on it and stores it!

It so happens that Jyothika sees Simbu with one of his pick-ups when he’s riding his motorcycle and she informs the police who are searching for all the misiing girls(the inspector is Atul Kulkarni). Simbu is caught but he says its actualy his twin brother who’s committing all these crimes. We have a flashback where a almost bald Simbu falls in love with a girl but is cheated upon. In a fit of rage, he kills both his girlfriend and her lover. He meets his elder brother and reveals what he did and hangs himself. Its actually the elder brother who’s doing all the murders! But the police release him thinking he’s telling the truth. Jyothika beleives him too and is sorry for handing him over to the police. She offers him her love but Simbu says ’’no’’ even though he loves her because he’s simply got to continue doing the murders for the sake of his brother. He will keep killing girls who cheat on their lovers.

The movie finally ends (i breathed a sigh of relief) by saying ’’only god can judge him.’’

I thought this movie was very bad. I have no idea what the need was for having Koundamani in the mix too (as simbu’s uncle).
