The quality of healthcare in this supposedly premier hospital is in shambles. Don't know where to start. I work as a Consultant physician in the UK and I have been for the last 12 years. I have trained in India and worked there for about 4 years. So, I know something about private hospitals in India. I am sorry to share that not much has changed over the years.
My father went to get his arterio-venous fistula done for a dialysis procedure. He was referred to a Urologist! Just to be clear, this is a vascular access procedure which has to be done by a vascular surgeon. The Urologist of course duly collected his money and referred him on. Shameless creatures. That's a bad rating for medical care.
Cashless payments: We have cashless insurance cover. Delayed paperwork from incompetent admin and nursing staff from hospital meant that my 70-year old dad and my elderly mom have been waiting till 1:30 AM in the morning to get home. This for an elderly diabetic with renal failure. Come on MH, get your act together. That's bad rating for logistics and admin.
To Support staff: Patients can be helped into toilets. This is called dignity which is a basic human right. Please don't tell patient who are otherwise independent and able to look after his personal needs to go to the toilet on the bed. And yes, please don't be rude to elderly patients. Think about your attitude/behaviour and behave as you would expect for your own parents. That's a bad rating for staff attitude.
