Well, I am writing this review after a long time because I am just not able to overcome the bad experience and thus want to let the patients know who are willing to meet these doctors in ENT. They are Dr. Bathi Reddy and Dr. V. T. Anand
I started experiencing fullness in my ears and also had an altered hearing accompanied with a strange noise in my right ear, I din't know what it was and visited a hospital near by my house, I under went a hearing test and found out that there was a dip in hearing and it was diagnosed to be Tinnitus, I was told that it had to be treated immediately by injecting steroid in my ear which could probably help in curing it or it would remain forever.
I was shocked and immediately rushed to Manipal Hospital(My bad) expecting a specialist suggestion, I met Dr V.T Anand who heard my story, checked the report and with a very cool head said that, it was not a problem at all(Though I was not able to hear properly & the report showed that) and asked me not to take any tablets or injections and just asked me to wait as it would go by itself, I believed him because I trusted in Manipal hospitals and went back home.
Since I continued to face the problem, I came back to Manipal but Dr V.T Anand was not available thus Dr Bathi Reddy looked at the report again and said that I was too late and nothing could be done, I was shocked, I said that I had visited Dr V.T. Anand and I was asked to wait saying nothing was wrong, it was just normal, I got the response again but with attitude saying nothing can be done and I am late! I was not able to talk any further and left
I met Dr E.V. Raman and explained my situation, he was very wise, he patiently examined everything and put me on a tapering Steroid treatment which gave me some relief however would start again once I would stop taking steroids.
I have met doctors in other hospitals after all the damage caused by Dr V.T Anand and after all the research, the fact is that this cannot be cured and I am still living with it as I lost the golden opportunity of getting it cured rite at the beginning, or rather to say that I was rewarded with this by Dr V.T. Anand for the faith.
I am writing this note with so much of pain, anger, frustration and also with some amount repentance for having to meet Dr V.T. Anand, no matter with what response Manipal comes up with(If at all they do), my suffering cannot be reversed. I will only be glad if this feedback helps other people not to undergo what I under went.
All that I would urge Dr V.T Anand is, please be considerate to your patients who come in utmost trust to get treated and don't play around with their lives.
Dr Bathi Reddy, please change your attitude in talking to the patients, even if there is no cure to the decease, the same can be put across in a human way, after all we don't expect your money, all we expect is your time as we have paid money and don't push off your patients.
Dr E.V. Raman, I have loads of respect towards what you have done to me when I approached you with hopelessness, thanks for your patience and counselling.
Thanks Dr V.T Anand for all that you could do or not do for what ever I am suffering today.
