My 6 months old baby was admitted here to treat urine infection. I can mention some good and bad aspects of this hospital.
good:
doctors are good, paediatric emergency personnel were good.
Nurses assigned to paediatric high dependency ward were good.
bad:
doctors manually write the prescription. My doctor though experienced, had not mentioned properly what dosage need to be given which lead to confusion when showed prescription to duty doctor.
Its very difficult to get private rooms. my baby haf to share the room with kids having dengue and malaria.
nurses assigned to other wards which are not high dependency lacked expertise. My baby was on iv infusion for 10 days. On 6th day when iv medicine started leaking from her hands, we observed(we checked not nurses) and informed these nurses and they came to know that baby's hands were swollen and due to that veins were not accepting fluid. Then they startef finding vein in herright hand. They pricked her twice on the right hand and then when they were not able to get the vein they shiftedto leg and prickef there as well. It was such a torture to see a small baby being subjected to such inhuman behaviour. My baby suffered because of these nurses inexperience. These nurses were giving different dosages each time forthe same medicine.I had even detected drip being leaked because the nurse had not attached it properly.
