What Happens when Ketan Mehta Directs a Magal Pandey.

The Outcome is so Different but the Main Actor remains the
same Aamir Khan.

Ashutosh understands the commitment he is required to put
into a serious ’’Period’’ project. I doubt whether this commitment
Ketan Mehta really puts into this 4 Long Years Epic Magal Pandey.

Its Long time I got really really Bored in a movie after ’’Kisna’’
(that too was a period film).I was not even in the mood of writing
anything on this movie, but then ... :)
I had to..get back to Mangal Pandey.

Not even ONE SINGLE Scene can be set aside and said,
its a Gripping scene this is the irony of this much hyped movie.

I dont know what Aamir Khan was doing for 4 long years
(just growing his moustaches)
How can’’HE’’ even get involved in such a project, whose
story or screenplay has just no head or tail to it ??

Can you imagine what the actress are doing in this movie,
saala why to indulge into History when you dont know what
that Mangal Pandey was exactly ?
Why to indulge into such a serious topic when you want
to fool around it ?

Ok there are some society ’’issues’’ handled by Ketan Mehta like
untouchability or ’’Sati’’ etc etc. But here comes another
horribly ’’romantic’’ turn....

This British Saves a ’’SATI’’ Going girl from her burning Chitah...
and and and then this ’’SATI’’ Going girl (without any romance
being developed in the story) just ’’SLEEPS’’ with this British in Bed..
with some Banjara type song in background :((
Does Ketan Mehta remembers that he setting his movie in 1857 ???
can you imagine the mentality of Girls grown in that ’’Era’’ ??
I am just not ready to accept that a ’’1857’’ girl sleeping around
a British Guy without any marriage Vows..

What was Ketan Mehta Thinking when he was directing that banjara
song with all the sexy steps in ’’1857’’ ?? its so funny are we talking
about Indian culture was so ’’slutty’’ those days .... I cannot choose
which generation Indian Culture was more Gracious..
today’s or yesterdays :( Ketan Mehta what have you done man
India was never like that :( the Girls where never like that :(

And this Film is going to be seen ’’everywhere’’ in the world being a
Aamir Khan film and the hype after Lagaan he has generated for himself..

What was Ketan Mehta thinking when the ’’Village’’ crowd was running
after Aamir is given ’’Public Faansi’’?? It seemed to me just like
Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana Army you know :) some people laughing
some looking at the camera.. some having the monkey mask some dont :))
is this a 4 years effort NO WAY Mr.Mehta :(

Does Ketan Mehta really really know ’’where to draw a Line’’ ’
showing his Hero standing in front of 2 King Advisors..
saying ’’Yeh King kuch bhi nahi hai’’ Hum Hindustan hai ..
so funny :)) man .. remember Mangal Pandey was a Poor
humble human being , its very very hard digest him doing this..
he just didnt want to chew those ’’cartridges’’ thats all we know..

Does Ketan Mehta know that Mangal Pandey was not hanged publicly ??
This was not British Strategy to create Heros, they use to hang
them quietly..

And those ’’A.R.Rehman songs’’ definately dont carry the movie forward..

What was ’’Kirron Kher’’ doing in that ’’Prosititute Role’’ very very very
Low neck blouse ?? and just 2 dialogues in the movie .. yes seriously 2 dialogues.

What was ’’Mona Ambegaonkar’’ (do you remember this girl I doubt)
doing in this movie .. opening scene hahaha feeding milk to a british child..
then coming back home .. feeding milk to her baby thats all :) is this a joke ..
Kanta Ben shown just lying on a bed as her SAAS (one dialogue) :))

And ’O’ My My My .. Rani Mukherjee ha ha ha ha ha
Ketan Mehta man .. what was the need to Add her ??
Do you really know anything about Mangal Pandey ?

What was the need to bring Rani Mukherjee (Prostitute named Heera)
in Magal Pandey’s jail with a ’’MANG BHARO’’ scene yaar why ??

I can only indentify with ’’one song’’ in this movie and that is
’’Jaagran or Jaagte raho’’ this song keeps coming exactly when
you are about to fall asleep or you are squirming/wriggling in
your sits :) and thanks for keeping me awake those 4 guys
who keep singing this song sitting an elephant :)
