I have often wondered about what to write in reviews that deal with personalities. One needs to be very careful, so as not to hurt sentiments and feelings, yet manage to convey ones point of view effectively.
Being a medical professional I feel that one needs to be knowledgeable, skillful and articulate in expressing ones opinions, especially if that is required in public.

I remember first seeing Mandira Bedi in a movie called "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge" where she plays a very short role of a coy, shy girl who is secretly in love with Shahrukh Khan. The only way she can tell Shahrukh that she loves him is by standing in front of him with a plate of laddoos and staring at him incessantly ( looked absolutely and completely insane, to the point of being hilarious). And then interestingly, while surfing the TV channel one day, I come across a movie that stars Mandira Bedi. And guess what the movie is called ----- "Shaadi ke Laddoo". Now, does Mandira have a thing for laddoos, or it is just a coincidence !!!!

However, Mandira Bedi became famous for her noodle strapped blouses and multitudinous faux pas during the cricketing season. She came across as a very immature person, who did not know a thing about cricket but was reading out of a script. This was in the early days. I was pleasantly surprised to see her during the World Cup discussions recently. Believe me, SHE HAS CHANGED, and for the better.

Gone are the mutterings, hesitant remarks that stank of underconfidence in the past. Today Mandira seems in command. ( sometimes overshadowing Charu too !!). She knows what she is talking about, she has done her homework well and one does not hear any slip of the tongues now.

One could only conclude by saying that experience is something that is visible. Mandira Bedi can definitely vouch for that. What say Mandy !!!!!

Who is your all time favorite movie personality? Shahrukh Khan
