Jim Corbett was a renowned hunter but also a great tiger conservationist.
He was not a habitual hunter but a humane(gentle) hunter.Perhaps, few men have described tiger as he has. Well, he believes that if mankind lets animals have their personal space; there won't be major man-animal conflict.
He describes in detail- how some big cats turned man eater because of lack of food and break in food cycle. He also pointed out that a tiger is not a foolish animal but a majestic entity in its own right!
Jim has also written man eater of Rudraprayag.
It is really a good book but it is too costly!
