Most successful brands (products or personalities) are successful because they have a unique association. Mallika, to be successful, needs to be surer of her brand image. Which is the real Mallika, the one who wears the stupidly skimpy ’clothes’ (’’I am proud of my sex symbol image’’) or the one who screams in the newspapers ’’ek ladki ke liye uski izzat hi sab kuch hai’’. will the real Ms. Sherawat stand up?

I have never seen a more arrogantly stupid person be so successful (others have had atleast some talent to back them). There in lies her smartness. She has outlasted all predictions. Her movies have made money in times when others couldnt even break even. So she cant be dismissed. Sure, she can never be a Sridevi or a Madhuri, but then she never wanted to be one.

The one thing which is really good about her is her honesty. In an industry where everyone wears a mask, it is refreshing to see someone so honest and forthright. (’’I just want to make money, and not be acclaimed as a great actress’’).

So are we in a position to judge people? Are our parameters faultless?Each person should have a right to live life as he/she wants to. All we ask for is honesty, and that Mallika has. So lets not get too critical of her and let her live as she wants to and in the mean time, enjoy her and her movies
