This book is another wonderful creation of R. K. Narayanan. I am a big fan of his books. He takes you to malgudi and tells stories that are from earth. Simple yet most intriguing and captivates you. The stories are of the yesteryears still the human nature remains the same in today’s life. A must read.
Good book to kids, when they have lost contact with the Indian environment. a conditioning of the Indian mind when they are lost with western characters which are more WILD. Swamy a great ethos of the Indian environment created by RK.Narayan is great. A book for every Indian mind craving for something lost from their childhood. feels refreshed after reading the book. Children are amazed that India had such mind calming environment.
