Man, I have to say this is the best service ever. Unmatched by any other airline in the world.
On my trip from London to Kuala Lumpur, I told the air steward that I was really hungry and ask I
can actually have two portion of meal. I was pleasantly surprised I was indeed served two portion just as I intended. The beef rendang if I recall the name of the dish correctly was superb. The omelette was okay. Nevertheless, the two portion kept me quite filled up. But was later surprised with ice cream after the very filling meal. I had the ice cream and decided I could stretch my leg a bit by walking a bit on the plane. I was offered hot chocolate by another steward. These flight attendants had too many pleasant surprises for me already.
Just an hour or two before we start to decent, we had another meal. The same steward who served asked me if I want double portion again. I told him I was fine with just one but a bit curious as what the Business Class passenger had in their selection menu. Surprisingly he went to the Business Class section of the plane and asked stewardess for a menu card. I deliberately try to make his life difficult by saying I would like what they have in Business class. I did not thought he would have make the effort to bring me the meal which was only offered to the Business Class passenger.
Their service is indeed world class. I felt so bloated throughout the journey and had so much snacks, ice cream, meals. I had never experience such good service before. I tried to demand something out of the ordinary but was everytiime granted. The next time round, I will say I would like to take some photograph with the pilot and see if they could meet my need.
In terms of seating space, I wont actually think it was cramp at all. Maybe it was because I sat on the aisle seat. The plane actually departed on time and arrived about 40 minutes earlier than scheduled.
I dont care what other reviewer says about Malaysia Airline. Malaysia Airline is world class to me. If I would have to pay £300 more compare to one of its competitor, I would still choose Malaysia Airline.
