I watched this movie because you don't see Shabana Azmi in many movies these days. So another opportunity to see this great lady of Indian cinema was compelling. Playing the part of a witch, she was irreverent, chilling, captivating and impressive. I enjoy movies with a child at heart and was rewarded with great visuals. Shabana as always was the great executioner, and Chunni as her adversary was excellent. This movie teaches some very basic lessons about beliefs and science. It allows one to believe in the supernatural, but returns us to reality when we realize that the reality is nothing but a superb acting job by a consummate actor.
