We had Purchased Front Loading Washing Machine Siemens German Make for More than Rupees 22000 from Kohinoor Electronics, Kandivali. It had warranty for 2 years.
In the third year of usage suddenly machine went dead. We called Siemens Technician for Service.
Their visit charge was Rs 800 which we paid. Service men informed that Electronic Card needs replacement and it will cost Rs 10, 000/! We were shocked that within 3 years Siemens Machine broke down.
Our Earlier IFB Washing Machine worked for 10 years without any problem.
We requested help from Kohinoor Electronics for some reduction in cost from Siemens but Siemens were unhelpful and rigid.
We decided to go for other make Washing for appx Rs 15000/16000 instead of paying Rs 10000 for card and then no Guarantee how long card would last.
Before going for new machine we called local electrician for one more attempt to repair the Machine and to our Joy and surprise he repaired the card for Rs 2500!
Now Machine is working smoothly. We expected Sturdy and reliable Washing machine from Siemens and more customer friendly policy.
I am not going to buy Siemens Products at Premium Price in future due to my poor experience.
