I purchased my Scorpio from Ravi in Siliguri a month ago. So far so good. Delivery was as promised. Power is ok for an Indian vehicle. Nothing like the 325 HP GMC Yukon XL I left in the states, but oh
well. If India did not practice such rabid protectionism I would have imported it. But I am very pleased with my top of the line Scorpio. The stereo kinda sucks considering it has features such as the ability to read SD cards etc. After 1 Lakh kms well see if we still have such strong affection for it. It is too bad Mahindra does not make it a true SUV by offering such things as a locking rear differential better for off road use. I would also like to see a more powerful engine option for those willing to pay. Can you say tire smoke? This would truly be export quality if they would add bigger engine, ABS and air bags. I feel this car was a better value than the top of the line TATA that I almost purchased.
