Like its predecessor, this newly launched modified range is available with two diesel engine options. Its base and the mid range are equipped with a 2.5-litre MDI 320TC L that has a displacement capacity of 2523cc. This is a four cylinder mill is integrated with a direct injection fuel supply system technology for optimum output. It can churn out 63bhp in combination with a pounding torque of 182.5Nm between just 1500 to 1800rpm. Its transmission duties are handled by a NGT 520, 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. Additionally, its mid range gets a manual shift transfer case with 2-speed gear levels. With this, the torque output is distributed to all its four wheels. The other mill is a 2.5-litre CRDe motor that is integrated with a common rail direct fuel injection technology. It also runs on a DOHC based valve configuration with four cylinders and 16-valves. It has the ability to generate an output of 105bhp at 3800rpm in combination with a hammering torque of 247Nm between 1800 to 2000rpm. This plant is mated to an advanced NGT 530R, 5-speed manual gearbox. It is accompanied by a BORGWARNER manual shift transfer case for distributing output to all four wheels.This 2523cc powerhouse has the ability to give away a maximum mileage of 18.06 Kmpl(for 4x2) and 16.55 Kmpl(for 4x4). The other one is the CRDe that has common rail direct fuel injection system. This has the ability to give away a peak mileage of 18.06 Kmpl.
