There is no proper Service from Mahindra dealers

I am owning Mahindra Scorpio Vls 2012 – Regd : KA01MJ7664. Purchased on 31-12-2012.  On 25th April 2013 while driving I noticed some abnormal noise from engine. Next day morning I called up Service center and informed the same. They asked me to bring the vehicle to showroom. 26th April 2013 morning 9:30am I given my car for service. They told it will take one week time.


After one week I called to the show room number. They asked me to contact your service adviser, who does not know English & Hindi. Only knows Kannada & Telugu – how Mahindra recruited him I don’t know. Because as a service advisor he does not know anything technically about the vehicle.


On 6th May again I called him to know the status of my car. He told kotak team is on leave there is no update till date. That means nearly 12 days there was nothing done from service point of view. Again he told it will take another 8 more days to fix. Then again I called them on 14th May 2013. Same dialogue “no update”, kotak team came and they are testing one by one part. It will take another one more week.


On that day I called up service center manager “Mr.Prasad” he told me that we check the history the noise is because of your vehicle got in accident for that it effected. My vehicle got accident in March, and this noise came on April month (after 1200KM run) the vehicle. Then he told me that I sent mail to Mahindra with all the vehicle history and observation recommended to replace the short engine. It will take time to get approvals and after that part availability.


How long it will take to replace the part and service done. Almost one month they took to tell this. They never called me in this month time. I only contact them daily for update. Sometimes I will get response or they don’t pick the call.


Day one I started complained to Mahindra customer care for the same issue at 1800 2096006. Daily I used to call and trying to get the update from Mahindra. But daily I am able to hear from them we escalated your issue to our next level you will get a call in another 1 hr time. Till date I never got call from Mahindra for any update.


I never think of this type of service from Mahindra. There is no other contact numbers for escalation the things. This mail ids I got from internet and got the other stuff from other Mahindra owners how they are suffering from service. So many complaints from the Mahindra customers.

I want to know how long it will take to complete my car service??? I believe there is no customer from HP past 5 months, because so many internal mails is spread over. Please plan it for solve the problems ASAP to improve the Mahindra’s prestage in high.
