Eventhough I have not owned a Jeep, I have travelled many times eachtime when I visit Kerala... Its best suited for rough roads & terrains.. It really rocks........ Since the roads of Kerala has many ups & downs, Jeep is well suited for that place... Jeep is like Ambassador cars which is in the market since many years.....
It has some drawbacks like its crude noisy engine & its tough to drive in the normal city conditions.. But it has a very high torque engine say 250nm@1500 rpm....... When older jeeps r concerned its pick up is very poor till the engine gets heated.... But once it gets warmed, it can climb more inclines............
Its the best vehicle for the people living in hill stations......... Brakes r the concern in jeeps as it would fail sometimes...... Otherwise its a very good off roader.... Its suspensions r very good as it can easily accustom to any kind of roads........
