If you think for buying a scooter strongly advice you not to go for MAHINDRA DURO. Worst Scooter with weird look not so stylish. Too Light in weight and too short in height. The money you will spend going for this scooter it will be best if you go for TVS Scooty Pep Or adding some money go for Honda Activa. Mileage is too low and it is around 27 - 30 now.
When I brought this scooter in january 2012 it was giving an initial mileage of 40 but after a year or so till now its Mileage decreases month by month. Pick up is awful with grunting sounds like Luna. Maximum time it shows problem in starting the scooter when I used the self and forcefully I have to go for kick start which creates much more problems in hectic traffic. Only plus point of this mobile is handling and control is good apart from this no other advantage. I will not suggest anyone opting for this scooter.
