Guys I had bought the mahindra Duro scooter for 40000 rupees last year in May. I rode it for almost 3 months and there after the scooter has been a nightmare for me! I bought it thinking it will be convenient for city short commute and mahindra is a trusted brand in auto!
I have been sending it for repairs so frequently that this has become more of a liability for me!
It does not serve the purpose at all! The pick up of this scooter is sad! it feels like it is dragging along the road.
the kick start mechanism fails so often that people make fun of me seeing me trying to kick start this piece of crap.
Mahindra is a trusted brand but this scooter is surely a flop! the brakes have failed, the tyres have given up and the exhaust is pathetic! This scooter makes a weird noise.
Do know what the mahindra engineers were thinking when they designed this 4 stroke 120 cc piece of junk. The seat is so tiny that a well built guy wont feel comfortable at all!
The tank is also small on this just takes it about 6 litres and withthe sad average it wont give you much out of it!
I totally discourage everyone from buying this scooter. Please stay away from it! And more importantly do not buy a second hand Mahindra Duro.
