In a new Bolero, it is powered with 2523 cc diesel engine. There's minor face-lift along with some interior updates. I bought this vehicle because it is one of the affordable SUV that can be bought for real off road experience. I buy this vehicle to raid in the edge of Himalayas. We planned a trip to the roughest road in India leh ladakh to get a real experience. Bolero performed well in its journey throughout.
MERITS:
Its spare parts are cheap.
Easy to maintain car.
Roughest car.
Good mileage
Powerful A.C.
DEMERITS:
Looks is average
Seats are not that comfortable
Boot space is less
Ergonomics of power windows
Let me Explain all the merit and demerits,
Bolero is fun to drive when it comes to off road. It has a good torque and pickup. It reaches 100 Km/hr in just 30 second car comes with an good ground-clearance and strong a.c. which cools cabin very fast. It is the cheapest SUV that can be bought and maintained when compared to its rivals.
Although, It comprises of 3 rows for 7 persons, but at the end of the 3rd row it is difficult for 2 adults to adjust, though it is good for small kids. Another demerit is its power-windows adjustment. All window controls are centred near gear-nob and even rear passengers has to depend on front one's and it also feel's difficult to adjust window's while driving.
overall the vehicle is good for trips, off road, hilly area etc.
People who loves to drive in hills going close to nature. This vehicle is meant for those who can't afford expensive SUV's. This vehicle works well in both cities and highway. I am sure you will not regret after buying this vehicle.
