I applied for Broadband connection in March 2008 but got in May 2008 after 2 months. Suddenly after about 15 days i found no DSL link coming. I called up 1504(Again one of the worst servce helpline in the world) they informed there was no registration of broadband against my telephone. After followups with MTNL officers and Senior Officers for several days , i was advised to again apply. I did after that it again took then few days to activate the connection.

Not this but there were frequent disconnections resulting in overshooting my usage limit.
I called up helpdesk, they registered the call but in no vain. sometimes it worked fine and in another minute it used to get disconnected.

Atlast on September 1st 2008 i found DSL link not coming, i tried to call 1504 but couldn’t connect to it. Next day i logged a complaint from MTNL Delhi website.  i waited for 2 days No resolution provided. on September 5th i was amazed to know there was no complaint pretaining to my connection. Again i logged a fresh complaint on 5th September  but till 11th September my problem was not solved, On 11th Evening i went to submit application for disconnection. Voila an amazing thing my connection was disconnected by the end of the day. The best part no one ever asked the reason for disconnection or the problems faced.
Atleast i was able to get a quick service at the last moment.
