A product is as good as its provider, having said this everyone knows how MTNL
was and
is now-a-days. Nothing substantial has changed even after entry of the private sector competition.
MTNLs support service is PATHETIC. And whats the point if you get a a very good product but no support service. Im an ADSL trained technician and used to support ADSL users of USAs largest service provider "Bellsouth".
Making use of MTNLs Helpline is a nightmarish experience; technicians are ill-trained, they just read scripts without much product knowledge; do not have proper diagnostic tools and are always ready to give "GOLI" which in call center parlance means "pulling a fast one on the client", hoodwinking a client.
And worst of all theres NO ONE responsible you can turn to; written complaints are Love Letters which MTNL cherishes but does nothing about it.
I would not recommend Triband to anyone unless theyre techies or have an Auntie or Uncle :-) in MTNL to get decent support.
