Ok, so here is the deal. My father is in MTNL and now I hope you imagined the rest of the story in your mind. I was forced to use this initially. But now, I guess I am pretty much used to it.
I have been with this connection for almost 10+ years. Yes you got it right, 10+ I have survived and still living.
Pros and Cons:
Pros:
1) Excellent service and support. If you have any problem with the service, just give a call on their customer center and somebody will be there to attend you within 1-2 days.
2) Plans are a bit expensive.But, Don't forget, they also provide free calls to any part of india along with the data pack. I am using paying 500-600 rs for internet(unlimited data, 3G/4G)+ free calls( local as well as roaming).
3) You can rely on its connection as if you are working and need normal internet for surfing the videos without getting disconnected or have a chance to lose your mbs of data. Its a trusted one.
4) Now a days, they have introduced several plans beneficial for student as well as business mens.
5) If you are using Dolphin, I guess the signals are pretty much good and consistent as compared to reliance and Jio.
Cons:
1) I guess everybody knows the first one. Utterly low speed. I guess a tortoise can run faster than the broadband speed.
2) Previously, they have some really good messaging pack but now its all gone.
3) At the price of 500-600 INR, I guess anyone can buy other companies plan with good internet and calling system. Its a bit expensive.
4) Sometimes, disturbances comes in rainy season which takes time to get fixed.
