My spouse and I have seen many movies there

Last weekend we booked tickets online, there was no intimation in the website that there is no luggage counter. Pathetic service. pers

Drab is what I felt the moment I stood in queue for the tickets. The attendant on the counter was unhelpful and frustrated with a selective pattern of becoming mute or rather turning deaf to customer woes. They simply stare into oblivion if you don’t have change, a gimmick for the staff to further bug the others in line! The price is set at a standard rate of Rs 175 for the tickets, which is quite high considering the sub-standard services and dingy ambiance of the complex!

The next thing that puts one off is the huge amount of dirt and dust on the floor of the supposedly waiting space. Since there are no seating arrangements people have to make do with the platforms meant to support the grills, God knows how they plonk or rather squeeze themselves into those tiny spaces between the grilled bars, with their ’you-know-what’ jutting out! In short, it is quite a painful experience waiting in that so called lounge especially when the security wallah swaggers with great panache with a notice announcing a delay of 25 minutes in the start of a movie. Case in point: The recently launched film, Road Movie, started half an hour late from its slated time on 6th March, 2010. Next in row are the sulking caterers behind the food stalls. They served me a large fountain coke, which I readily gulped to get rid of the heat and kill time, however, what ensued cheesed me off further. There was no FIZZ in the cola and the popcorns were cold and stale! After a snappy conversation the guy agreed to replace the cola with a handful of Nachos but I had to do with the pop corns as the place was running short of fresh food supply. The entire experience was dismal and the warped movie made it worse! I came out of the nightmarish place with a sullen face, however, was rejuvenated by savoring the yummy momos from the humble Chinese food van, probably the only saving grace for the day!
