Yeah i saw this Ad recently after reading so many reviews..i was feeling left out ki what is it with SRK that i have missed...oh so i saw this my reactions were exactly what you read above.

The commercial talks about SRK in a Bath Tub filled with Rose Petals and umm umm umm oh ok water..hehe what you thought??? and then he tells about Lux 75th anniversary and all...he tells that which is the beauty and all.

So i mean...why the heck they showed SRK in the bath tub. Hmm any male appeal for the soap. Well that sounds silly for a beauty soap. Which has been marketed as one for 75 years why achanak this change in strategy...? Wierd.

One fine day imagine Aishwarya Rai coming and telling you about Gillete Mach 3 on its 100th anniversary and top of that they also end up showing her. Not a joke after this Ad...anything can happen for sure..

Any ways coming back to Ad..i felt SRK is getting old..i can see that on his Face ..the skin on neck is giving indications of a face lift.. Well Rose Petals and a Bath Tub all you do is sell soap. But whats the logic in such a wierd Ad...

Let us look at logic..

1) 75 years it has banked on heriones and beuties...so they try to get something new and something that makes people wonder and talk about the brand...remember there are so many reviews on it.

2) SRK is a super star so he may sell the soap like anything. Now imagine if this doesnt work some years later they will ask Amitabh Sr. himself to do the advertisements..waise bhi Amitabh is selling everything from Tel to Toothpaste.

Ilogical part of the overall scenario is.

1) My reaction was it was like a Pig in a Pond. I mean Rose Petals and all are meant for beauties ..i mean why the heck rose petals..come on..

My reaction:: Ping in a pond filled with rose petals.

So after 75 years what do we get..a pig bathing in glory with 4 startlets in rose petals instead of gutter. Terrific concept something like the creative director must have thought of while looking at Pigs playing in the mud...

You never know the new concepts might be even wierder..

1) SRK on 100th anniversary of LUX...eating it and telling people ab nahaane ke saath khaana bhi :D

2) SRK in a underwear ad...wearing nothing at all on its 75th Anniversary...introducing the invisible underwears eewwww cheee.

3) SRK eating dog biscuit like a dog on 100th anniversary of Sunfeast when they introduce it.

Enough ideas but i tell you this ad was wierd.

I give 5 stars and Reccomendation because never in my 7 janams i would be or any one would be able to see a Pig in a Pond filled with rose petals and surrounded with beauties.
