I was booked on a LH flight to FRA last minute after a connecting flight was scheduled to depart DFW late. Therefore, I didnt deal with the check-in counter, but had to check it at the gate
itself. Only complaint there was the agent didnt know what to do with a passenger who showed up with no printed itinerary or other documentation saying she was on the flight. The travel agency had only given me the United Airlines codeshare flight number, and he kept insisting the flight didnt have a UA number. I finally just handed him my passport and he found me on the manifest. Not a huge problem, although a little annoying for someone who usually checks in online and doesnt ever deal with the gate agents.
Flight departed almost an hour late due to mx issues, which isnt an issue for me.
Food was excellent, and the flight attendants were the best Ive seen on any international flight (and all but one domestic flight). I dont even know what else to say - they were great.
My only problem was with the seat. This was by far the most uncomfortable business class seat Ive ever had the misfortune of sitting in. It was very obviously made for someone at least 6" taller than myself and every time I put it "flat" (about 150 degrees), Id slide off towards the bulkhead. My body simply was too short for the seat. In addition, it was just narrow enough that it wasnt very comfortable to sleep on my side.
The good news is, the bad seat isnt enough to keep my from flying Lufthansa again.
