Lucent's general English is a good book for beginner who are preparing for competitive exams like ssc, bank, state and central government exams. In this book it has given from the basics to understand the the average student and it is very useful for those who are enthused to learn english.in my way it is the best book to learn english and to prepare for the competitive exams. it is right to say that it is one of the best book of english I had ever read to learn english and it is the very good book
