I was the student of Lovely Professional University and I remember that Transforming Education Transforming India was the slogan.

I start studying B tech in Computer science in Lovely Professional University in 2008. After completion of one year, I changed my course from Computer to Mechanical and I am thankful to the administration for the support and accepting my demand to change the stream.

Lovely Professional University is a deemed university having lots of academic programs covering all the areas of education. Starting from Diploma in engineering to Doctorate, Lovely Professional University is providing very vast exposure to education. It is also having Management programs, Law, Fashion Designing, Hotel management, Architect, Commerce, Journalism, Physical Education and many more. So as per the academic is concerned, lovely professional university is providing quality education with highly qualified faculty and updated technology or methodology of teaching.

Administration structure of lovely professional university is different from the other organizations and this makes the difference. As there are hundreds of educational programs that is running in lovely professional university. So there it is required to control each and every program efficiently. Every department is having dean which is responsible for the performance and there is also head of the department to execute the system. Proper maintenance of the attendance of the students is must and regular time to time assignments are given in this university. Not only the theoretical knowledge but practical exposure is also provided.

Extracurricular activities are very much important for the overall growth of a student and this university is best in giving exposure to the cultural, technical, musical events. Moreover, when I was student of this university, there use to be events on every weekend. So rather than wasting the time in traveling and going to our hometown, I wanted to enjoy the weekend in the campus. One more best thing regarding this university is that you can find the students from every part of the world.

After passing out in 2012, I am still in touch with all my friends. As these days social networking is very helpful for being in touch with the friends. But lovely professional university is also having good alumni network. Lots of events are organized by this university in different states of India. Some event are also organized in different countries as more students are going abroad, specially in USA and Canada. So lovely professional university is keeping in touch with all the students even after they pass out.

Overall it was very good experience while being a student of lovely professional university. I learned lot of things and made friends. I miss all my friends, faculty members and other staff of lovely professional university.
