The Logitech X50 is a wireless speakers that makes use of Bluetooth to play music. The X50 receives audio from its 3.5mm(AUX) and micro-USB ports. However, this device does not come with any wired outputs( means you cannot pass audio to other devices or headphones via this).
The X50 has a battery capacity of 750 mAh and comes with a playback time of 5 hours( a major disappointment since other wireless headphones come with a playback time of around 6-6.5 hours). It has an RMS of 3 Watts, which is again lesser than the standard wireless speakers. The product has a frequency range of 132 Hz–20 kHz, which is just about average.
Since it is a bookshelf speaker, you should put it on shelf, table, or other surface. It only has a single speaker. It is the lightest portable speaker, which I have in my room. However, you should know that a heavy speaker produces stronger sound.
Sometimes, this speaker gets disconnected automatically from my laptop. I thought the battery may be low and I decided to charge it. However, it did not charge for a long time either. I had to call an executive to get this fixed. In fact, the speaker was recognized by ony one device. None of the other devices was not able to locate it, which was surprising. It also was not connecting to the other devices. I checked and re-checked the product and finally had to return it.
Overall, the product is economical, but its performance and connectivity are major issues. I would advise you to thoroughly check the specifications before buying this.
