Since I gained consciousness, I have been quite health conscious. I was a regular reader of a wonderful monthly megazine `the Reader Digest` since 1990 till date.
I saw an advertisement of the Listerine mouthwash in that meagazine.
It was captivating and I just purchased a 250 ml bottle with my pocket money, secretly. I brushed the teeth in the night and put some 20 ml of liquid inside my mouth.
Oh my God, I was running with a feeling of thousand scorpians in my mouth. I just spit the liquid immediately from my mouth. My parents came and scolded me for using this new kind of medicine like thing.
But as I was feeling good now. I just saw all the details of the the pack. I found no sentence like `Use it on the advice of a registered medical practioner only`.
I used it again for FULL 30 seconds the next night and could `sustain` myself well as I was mentally prepared for the `sting`.
Wow what a feeling of FRESHNESS. This kind of freshness I never had with any of my toothpaste. I had feeling of a COMPLETE DENTAL CARE.
Before using this mouthwash I had tooth ache occassionaly. On reporting it to my loving mother, I used to have `laung` which was to be chewed for some time. But I started thinking, `` Now I am only 15 years old, how can I survive for my remaining life without dental problem?``
I do not how, but I started having faith on this mouthwash that regular use of this licquid will keep all my dental problems at bay. That time mouthshut.com was not even born.... Lol.
I kept using it months after months, once in a day. I never had any of the dental problems as on date. Even my family is convinced about the effectiveness of this wonder liquid but do not use it and they have been visiting the dentists. They use same toothpaste which I use. But , still they do not use this mouthwash because of the un bearable `sting` for 30 seconds... Lol.
Listerine is from `Johnson & Johnson` company . The price is Rs 85 for 250 ml of the mouthwash. I have experimented with other three leading mouthwashes available in the market which are non stinging too. But, I found that they are inferior to the Listerine.
The only direction for use written on the backside label of the wonder licquid is `` Rinse around teeth and gums with about 20, ml of undiluted Cool Mint LISTERINE, gargle, then spit out after 30 secomds.``
I suggest to brush once daily in the morning and use Listerine before sleeping.
With my 23 years of regular use, I can assure that you too can have minimum visits to dentists if you use this one regularly. All the best to all new users.
