I like things that are cool coz you see i am a cool guy !!!l!!!. For this and many other reasons, i avoid hot beverages. So whether tea or coffee, i prefer the cold version. I like ice-tea and have a tendency to order it more than any other beverage. It works for me.





Scene 1



One hot day while watching Friends, a new advertisement of a new product (actually an old product but now presented in a bottle) creeps in.


If you are good to momma,
Momma’s good to you.


Bubbly n Chirpy advertisement. I guess it has a hidden message in it. Probably the momma here is the nature or the mother earth....i aint sure.



But it is a good advertisement. It shows a volleyball match between Sid and another guy. Sid is losing. And when he takes a sip of Lipton Ice tea, table turn in his favor. Nature too takes his side. Nice advertisement. Not exceptional but nice.



After watching this advertisement i feel tempted and wish to taste this product. And also since i am not very fond of soft drinks, the temptation is even stronger. So the next day when i venture out in the sun i order a bottle of Lipton ice tea.



The bald vendor (near my house) tells me, ’ Sir this looks like beer. And ppl tell me it has alcohol in it.’ I wanted to ask him if he has tasted the damn thing but lack of time and presence of immense patience restrained me from asking him anything.



Anyways i tasted the product and kinda liked it. Though not exceptional it is actually better than the various soft drinks available. Priced at Rs. 9, Lipton Ice tea is better than the soda drinks and not harmful.



Scene 2


Then in the evening my friend and i go to a local cybercafe (the reason being he has a lovely daughter). I intentionally strike a conversation with the old guy (her father). I ask him, ’ Uncle Lipton Ice tea hai kya?’, and immediatly he quips, ’Beta badi bekaar hai, dekhne mein ajeeb si lagti hai.’



Moral of the story



This message is for all delhiites. This is ice tea and not the regular cold drink. And please there is no alcohol in it.



Effects of consuming Lipton Ice Tea



() Tendency to invent kewl one liners. For instance - U c I like cool things coz i am a kool guy! ...and so on.

() Tendency to walk the walk. After consuming this many start walking like they have just been electrocuted.

() U start winning all the battles. The reason is unexplained.

() Chicks surround you for autograph...again the cool guy syndrome seems to be the reason.



PS If you believe in all this crap better stay away from Lipton ice tea. It has no magical powers. Our reach does not lie as far as our hand can extend but as far as the mind wants it to extend. Its all in the mind!!!!!!!
