Pros:
Excellent Tea
Cons:
Relatively Expensive

Lipton Green Label has been our tea since many many years. My father-in-law ( former Chief Minister of Orissa ), inducted us to Lipton Green Label way back in the late fifties ( we were
married in 58 ). He was very meticulous in observing all the methods and the necessary disciplines of preparing Lipton Green Label. It was no less than a religious function like the Japanese Tea Ceremony. Unless you see it you won’t believe me. His daughter acquired the techniques from her father, and after our marriage, transferred the same to me. As a student of Technology Transfer, I was very quick to learn the methods and techniques of treating Lipton Green Label in the Tea Pot. The Tea Pot will be sorry if it is not covered by a beautiful Tea Cushy, specially in winter.

It is said that the English people are great tea drinkers. Yes, they are. But, they don’t prepare tea with the care it deserves. We have surpassed them in this. May be, because Lipton Green Label is grown in Darjeeling, picked up by the beautiful hill women, treated by expensive equipment and tested by five-figure salaried Tea Tasters.

There is a Breakfast Tea called Twinning available in England and United Nations Commissaries all over the world. It gives a very light brew, lighter than Lipton Green Label.

How to Prepare ?

1. Put the well washed Kettle with fresh water on the Stove.

2. Keep the Tea Pot ready, and wash its inside by the water boiling in the Kettle.

3. Put Tea by a spoon into the Tea Pot. Never touch Tea by your wet hands or a wet spoon, in whatever hurry you may be.
The formula suggested by the Tea Board is this: one spoon of Tea for the pot, and one spoon for each person who is going to have Tea. My wife finds the formula to be more sales oriented. She adds one spoon for each person, and that tastes gorgeous.

4. Pour the boiling water into the Pot.

5.Prewash your Cups with boiling water

6. Add sugar and milk according to taste. ( Well, we take it with a few drops of fresh lemon for each cup.)

7. Drink your tea, and remember me for giving you these tips.

8. Most Important: While buying , look ast the date of manufacture, so that you don’t get stale tea.

Hello Lipton Green Label, Are you listening ? I am advertising you. My fees ? Well, produce still better Tea by Strict Quality Control.

It is past seven in the morning, my tea time. Every morning after writing a Mouthshut Review, I go for tea. Bye, I am going now. A Happy Good-Tea Morning to you and your family.

Purchase Price (INR): Rs. 35/- for a 100 gm packet
