To be honest I am an infrequent buyer at the lifestyle store in Kalyani Nagar but unfortunately a mate decided to throw a last minute birthday party and since Lifestyle is the closest mall to my place I decided to buy something from there.
Finalized a pair of Puma sneakers and the guy at the counter then went to get the second pair. So I waited for around 15 min for him to arrive back with the pair and when he still didnt I enquired with another fella at the shoe counter . So now two people are looking for a pair of shoes and finally after around 25 min they arrived back with the shoes. The guy did apologize and I assumed that someone might have misplaced the Puma pair in the store room.
Unfortunately the pair didnt fit so went back the next day to get it exchanged. Finalized a pair of Woodland shoe and the guy then goes to get the complete set. Again 20 min before he comes back to announce that they dont have a size 8. Finalize another Woodland pair wait for eternity again they dont have a size 8.
Then finalized a pair of Alberto Torressi waited again for 20 min for the guy to come back and announce that they did not have size 8 in the color that I was looking.
Finally I decided to pick up a slightly damaged pair from the rack since my money was already tied up with lifestyle and I really didnt want to grow old in their store waiting 25 min for every pair of shoes.
Horrible shopping experience. I wonder what the situation in their store room might be where it takes atleast 20-25 min to find a pair of shoes. I wonder who is responsible for ensuring that they dont have a size 8, the most common size, in most shoes.
In comparison you can walk into a Central and they will almost certainly have a size 8 in most products and it takes them barely 3-4 min to procure the complete pair from the store room.
Last time that I am ever going to lifestyle.
