It has not been past much time before I read this book. The book is majorly around crime/thrill/jail time/mystery. What I have noticed in the plots set up by Michael Robotham, is that he surely brings in a love flare amidst the crime based story line which indirectly you might also feel in his book "Say you are sorry"; Life or Death too isn't any different.
The mystery is majorly around the character Audie(roberer) who has left no clues about the whereabouts of his steal and has vanished in thin air just before his release. What follows is very predictable plot and will move further quite slow. An unsatisfied cop, a gangster and A girl named Belita( love interest of Audie with complex relationship string attached).
The writing of Michael is simple but I would also say that the plot of this book will come up as predictable. The part where the cop character comes up and close to Audie amidst his love interaction with Belita wraps up rather very poorly. One time read, surprise factor seems missing.
