Gandhi ji was a rare blessing that modern India hardly acknowledges.
His personal sacrifices can never be compared with present political leaders.
One may oppose Gandhi ji's thoughts but one always admires and adores him.
Any wonder, he was and still is among the most known Indians of all age.
Louis Fischer was a known american journalist who visited India during quit India movement(Bharat Chodo Andolan) and met Bapu ji.
This is a good book and it formed as a basis for Gandhi -the oscar winning movie.
Fischer has also written some other good books on Gandhi ji particularly Gandhi and Stalin.
One must read it!
It is a costly book. One borrowed it from a public library!
