I have read, this book "LET US JAVA" by yashwant kanetkar. I love it very much because of its texture of content & specially mentioned comments.
I would definitely like to recommend it to my friends and family, those have interest in programming.
very first time I was start reading it, I was just starts talking to my self why, java is one of the toughest language, but after completing few chapters of this book, I have no complains now with james gosling:P
