Its refreshing to let sanjeev sanyal narrate India's ancient story though a new lens. it takes into account how the tectonic plates moved, to how the himalayas were formed, how the holy rivers gave birth to the majestic civilizations on its banks right from the Harappan Civilization to modern day India.
Along the way he talks about the flow of genes, the movement of ancient tribes, the flora anf fauna of the region in a very interesting read. Being a non academic, it proves avery good read for the lay man. a book you should pick up on the next visit to the bookstore(or Amazon).
