One of the DM student (Nephrology) at Amrita Hospital, Dr. Benoy Shankar and a staff of AIMS, Cochin drowned in a high tide at Lakshadweep. The two friends had gone to Kalpathi near Agati island in Lakshdweep. Dr. Benoy had been working hard at the island for the past 6 months to set up a hospital. Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences had taken up the Rajiv Gandhi hospital. The security warning was not enough. The loss is nothing to the government or to anyone else. So, beware, when you decide to go on a tour here.
