I had purchased LML NV scooter in March 1995 and have driven for about 3,00,000 kms since then. It had consistently given 40+ kmpl average. Only once at about 1.5 lac kms, I got its engine overhauled. I kept minimum maintenace and found maximum comfort while driving this scooter. I would definitely replace this with another LML NV as I am more than satisfied with the one I own. The only problem with this scooter is adding 2T oil while filling petrol. The pumpwallahs use substandard oil and also fill less quantity. That's why I wish to have a 4stroke LML scooter and hope LML people would listen to my request and roll out a 4Stroke scooter at the earliest, this will improve mileage and reduce running expenses. As compared to bike a scooter has advantage of stepney and dickey. So once a 4 stroke LML scooter hits the roads it will a great success as it will overcome its only drawback of fuel economy as compared to any bike. this is my perception.
