We thought of building a house of our own, when we i.e., myself and my husband both were at the beginning of our service career and we are residents of Tripura. We approached LIC Housing Finance Limited(LICHFL) local office and got in touch with the officer in-charge. He helped us immediately with all necessary documents those were to be submitted after duly filling in and we also acted promptly. There was not much problems in complying with the formalities. There was practically very little cost of document processing. In fact, for us although the controlling office of LICHFL is at Kolkata, but the local officer in-charge took all care to ensure that the first instalment of our house building loan is released at the earliest. Our house construction is in its final phase and we could not have come to this stage without the active support of LICHFL. We are quite satisfied with the way the financial loan was extended to us by LICHFL.
